Map layers and selected layers dialogue in one

City of Tampere, National Board of Antiquities, Helsinki Region Environment and Environmental Centre of Finland are creating a hierarchical map layer feature together. The implementation is done by Dimenteq Ltd.

Now the proposal is also accepted as a core feature for Oskari and added to the Oskari roadmap (Oskari Improvement Proposal).

The hierarchical map layer dialogue functionality will help coping with large amount of map layers. It allows grouping the data under predetermied categories and makes data search more easy for the users.

The feature should be ready in February 2018 – we will keep you posted!
